Extrusion Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Alliston, Ontario, Canada; afternoon shift, Monday to Thursday, 16:00–02:00 EST.

Pay: $30.30 CAD per hour, plus a possible shift premium for eligible hours.

What you will do

• Run the extrusion line and adjust equipment to produce quality tubing.
• Perform line clearance, die changes, machine setup, and production adjustments.
• Complete quality checks, department documentation, and product release activities.
• Prepare, pack, label, and secure tubing boxes and skids.
• Use shop-floor systems to enter orders and obtain raw materials.
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient work areas using 6S and LEAN practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or quality experience in a GMP environment, preferably in food or manufacturing.
• Experience performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with reliable attendance and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to document data correctly, understand SOPs and specifications, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
