Process Engineer (Metal Parts)

Location: Minhang, Shanghai, China; onsite

What you will do

• Develop products and manufacturing processes for metal parts and converting projects from initial request through mass production.
• Select raw materials, assess process feasibility, design process routing, and prepare verification plans and DFM recommendations.
• Coordinate tooling and fixture design, development, debugging, sample production, and trial runs.
• Prepare and maintain flow charts, PFMEA, SOPs, work instructions, and other engineering documents.
• Improve fixtures, production efficiency, process yield, material usage, and manufacturing costs using production data.
• Provide technical support, investigate process and quality problems, implement corrective actions, and support customer complaint resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3–5 years of experience in product design or process engineering.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the automotive parts industry is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Minhang, Shanghai, China.
