Security Specialist Senior - WIAM Policy and Controls

Location: In-office role based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL; Dallas, TX; or Lakewood, CO

Base salary: $112,000–$228,800 per year, with incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the enterprise WIAM governance framework, including policies, control design standards, and the operating model.
• Establish a centralized governance capability across IAM domains and processes.
• Connect issues, risks, controls, and policies to improve traceability, defensibility, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify systemic risks, prioritize remediation, and improve control sustainability.
• Develop governance KPIs, scorecards, maturity metrics, and audit-readiness strategies.
• Partner with IAM engineering, operations, business units, and senior leaders while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity governance, risk, controls, audit, or related security leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in IAM governance, risk management, security controls, regulatory expectations, and control effectiveness testing.
• Experience designing and scaling enterprise governance frameworks in complex environments.
• Advanced analytical, communication, influencing, stakeholder engagement, and risk-based decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Employment visas and STEM OPT sponsorship are not provided; the position is in-office in the listed U.S. locations.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGRC, or equivalent governance and risk credentials.
• Experience in highly regulated environments, preferably financial services.
