Founding Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; in-person five days per week

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Partner with Deployment Strategists and sales to scope technical requirements, build proof-of-concepts, and demonstrate solutions for enterprise customers.
• Build integrations, data pipelines, and custom functionality connecting customers’ marketing infrastructure to Conversion.
• Deploy product features, AI workflows, and technical solutions that translate marketing goals into measurable customer results.
• Work directly with customer teams, engineering, product, and growth.
• Turn lessons from customer deployments into reusable product capabilities.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience.
• Interest in staying close to customers while shipping product.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, growth, product, sales, Deployment Strategists, and customer teams.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Availability to work in person five days per week in San Francisco.
