Simulation Visualization Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Boulder County, United States; onsite

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop visualizations of spacecraft executing missions.
• Collaborate with Mission Design and Business Development to create high-quality mission demonstrations.
• Support testing with intuitive displays of spacecraft sensor data and telemetry.
• Create high-fidelity models of spacecraft camera systems for vision-system development and testing.
• Improve simulation workflows through software and tool development.
• Participate in mission dress rehearsals and operations, supporting in-situ requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in modeling and simulation of physical systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, or other rendering engines.
• Experience designing graphical displays for spacecraft sensor data and telemetry monitoring.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git. Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vizard and Basilisk.
• Familiarity with space vehicle dynamics and optical systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
