Senior Game AI Engineer (Unreal Engine)

hirify.global is an independent game-development studio creating multiplayer, shooter, and live-service games in Unreal Engine.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize gameplay AI systems and architecture for a new co-development project with Epic.
• Develop robust AI behaviors and satisfying encounters in collaboration with designers, artists, animators, and engineers.
• Define AI requirements with the design team and iterate on gameplay encounters through playtesting.
• Create game AI test cases and integrate testing with the QA team.
• Collaborate with production and leadership on AI feature tasks while managing time and responsibilities independently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of game engineering experience, including 3+ years working on game AI.
• Experience building AI features in Unreal Engine.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping a title as an AI Engineer.
• Experience developing AI behaviors for FPS titles.
