TL;DR
HR Tech Analyst (Workday) (Workday Payroll/Absence): Configuring, testing, and supporting Workday HR applications with an accent on payroll, absence management, data integrity, reporting, and integrations. Focus on troubleshooting complex configuration and data issues, leading releases and enhancement projects, and designing scalable business processes.

What you will do
- Serve as the technical lead for Workday Payroll and Absence, with backup support for Compensation.
- Configure business processes, calculated fields, reports, condition rules, and security roles.
- Audit HR data and perform EIB loads to maintain accuracy across payroll, absence, and time tracking.
- Lead Workday releases, testing, system enhancements, and validation of payroll and absence outputs.
- Resolve configuration, data, integration, and reporting issues while serving as a Tier 2/3 escalation point.
- Partner with Workday leads, payroll and absence stakeholders, customer support, and external consultants to design sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of technical Workday experience, specifically with Payroll.
- Strong understanding of Workday data structures, security frameworks, and business process configuration.
- Strong data analysis skills, including interpreting, reconciling, and validating complex HR and payroll datasets.
- Experience supporting complex reporting and stakeholder requirements, including executive-level reporting environments.
- Ability to adapt to change and continuously learn.
Nice to have
- Advanced Workday Reporting expertise, including calculated fields, dashboards, and composite reports.
- Experience with Workday Benefits and Compensation.
- Experience with integrations or automation and AI in HR systems.
