Tax Analyst

Location: Remote in Canada; part-time, 20 hours per week.

Base hourly compensation: $27–$37 CAD per hour.

What you will do

• Assist with quarterly and year-end tax provisions.
• Perform first-level reviews of corporate and indirect tax returns.
• Review, track, and help resolve notices from tax authorities.
• Support ongoing and new tax audits.
• Contribute to tax research and other finance projects during peak periods.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed CPA designation with a focus on tax.
• 1–2 years of experience in Canadian tax compliance, including exposure to corporate income tax.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment.
• Public accounting experience is preferred.
