Intelligence Analyst (Security Intelligence)

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois; three days in office and two days remote at the Randolph Street location

Salary: $68,300–$95,900 annual compensation. A separate base pay range of $55,900–$123,500 is also listed.

What you will do

• Monitor social media and global intelligence to identify emerging trends, potential threats, and reputational risks.
• Research intelligence and provide situational awareness for the organization, employees, corporate locations, and senior leadership.
• Develop routine intelligence reports and deliver culturally relevant insights for strategic decision-making.
• Monitor international locations where employees and leadership travel for business.
• Support security projects involving card access, camera replacement, and new corporate property surveys.
• Coordinate vendor and contract support while assisting with departmental budgeting and major projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of public- or private-sector security intelligence experience, or six years of relevant experience.
• Ability to identify and assess potential threats using intelligence-gathering tools and techniques.
• Experience establishing metrics, recommending strategies, and using web-monitoring technology.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• PC proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work three days in the Chicago office and two days remotely.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience and training or certification in intelligence analysis and open source intelligence.
• Knowledge of analytic visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, communications, or IT.
• Advanced degree or ASIS certifications such as CPP or PCI.
