Physical Security Threat Intelligence Officer

Location: Riverside, Rhode Island or Johnston, Rhode Island

Salary: $72,000–$101,000 per year, plus an opportunity for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Conduct physical security threat assessments, analyze data, identify patterns, and anticipate future risks.
• Gather and evaluate intelligence from open sources, internal reports, external agencies, and government partners.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and collaborate with security teams to strengthen physical security measures and protocols.
• Lead responses to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement and other relevant agencies.
• Prepare threat reports and briefings for senior management, provide recommendations, and conduct training for security personnel.
• Send emergency notifications and communications when required, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, intelligence studies, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in physical security, threat intelligence, or a related field, with experience leading security operations and threat analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with intelligence analysis tools and software, plus the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Monday–Friday schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with occasional on-call duties.

Nice to have

• Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or a similar certification.
