Investigative Intelligence Analyst (Threat Intelligence)

What you will do

• Monitor and research classified cable traffic and intelligence reporting to identify direct and indirect threats to U.S. diplomatic facilities, personnel, and overseas interests.
• Evaluate intelligence against dissemination criteria and produce concise, templated threat notifications for security personnel, desk officers, analysts, and external agencies.
• Respond to data calls and requests for information through written products and oral briefings.
• Maintain classified and unclassified logs and use intelligence databases and toolkits to support threat-warning operations.
• Conduct operations across TS/SCI and Secret networks while managing workload autonomously.
• Coordinate with organizational partners and stakeholders to share security-related intelligence and support process automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience monitoring, researching, and disseminating security or threat-related intelligence, preferably in a U.S. government or Department of State context.
• Ability to identify relevant intelligence and produce accurate, timely, concise report synopses.
• Proficiency with databases and tools used to access and disseminate classified information.
• Strong written and oral communication, organization, independent work, and stakeholder-management skills.
• TS/SCI eligibility is required to start; the role is on-site in Rosslyn, Virginia.

Nice to have

• Watch-floor experience involving threat warning or intelligence operations.
• Familiarity with Department of State and other U.S. government missions, databases, search platforms, information-handling systems, or law-enforcement tools.
