Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Greenwood, South Carolina, United States; full-time and on-site

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET and C# applications supporting capsule production, real-time monitoring, batch tracking, quality control, inventory management, and data integrity.
• Develop and integrate MES/OT solutions with existing ERP and manufacturing execution systems.
• Gather requirements, analyze business needs, create technical concepts and specifications, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, operations, and IT/OT stakeholders.
• Implement SQL Server schemas, stored procedures, queries, indexing, and ETL processes for high-volume production data.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, optimization, validation, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
• Support a 24/7 rotating on-call group, document systems and processes, conduct training, support data migration, and contribute to continuous improvement and governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, C#, and SQL Server.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, indexing, and ETL for manufacturing data.
• Experience with Git and agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical or regulated industries, including GxP, validation lifecycles, electronic records and signatures, GMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 production environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCADA, PLC integration, TrackWise, MasterControl, or other manufacturing and pharmaceutical software.
• Knowledge of Azure, .NET deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Microsoft Azure Developer Associate certification or a similar credential.
• Exposure to JavaScript or React for full-stack development.
