Freelance Software Tester (Smart TVs)

Location: Remote, but must be physically located in Germany during October and November

Pay rate: Starting at $18 USD per hour, paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer

hirify.global is a global software testing company operating through a freelance testing network for apps from companies worldwide.

What you will do

• Install streaming app builds on compatible Smart TVs using provided instructions.
• Execute functional test cases covering navigation, playback, login and account behavior, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, and live events.
• Report defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and recordings.
• Provide feedback on issues identified during each test run.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and physically located in Germany during October and November.
• Must be comfortable navigating a streaming app in German; native or bilingual German is preferred.
• Own a Smart TV running Titan OS, specifically a Philips, Vestel, or JVC TV.
• Complete approximately 2–4 hours of testing per run, with some runs lasting up to 12 hours.
• Software testing experience is useful but not required; free preparatory courses are available.
