2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Corporate Finance & Risk - FP&A and Management Reporting (Finance)

Location: New York, NY; housing is not provided. The internship runs from May 27, 2027, through August 6, 2027.

Salary: $20.00–$35.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results and provide insights on performance against plans and strategic objectives.
• Conduct peer benchmarking and competitive analysis to support management decisions and strategic planning.
• Support forecasting, annual planning, and rating agency reporting through financial modeling and analysis.
• Develop presentations and communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Learn about Finance and Risk functions, Guardian’s products and services, and organizational priorities.
• Build professional relationships with leaders, mentors, colleagues, and other interns.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Current junior with an expected graduation date of May 2028.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and willingness to explore multiple Finance and Risk functions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
