Supplier Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, and Sourcing on supplier quality management, onboarding, and development.
• Lead supplier qualification, part and process qualification, supplier audits, issue resolution, and quality plan implementation.
• Monitor supplier compliance with quality management system and regulatory requirements.
• Drive supplier and internal quality improvements, reduce costs of quality, and support engineering changes, new product introductions, and transfers.
• Develop and execute corrective and preventive action plans to resolve supplier non-conformances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality assurance.
• At least 3 years of quality-related experience, including direct supplier quality management experience.
• Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
• Qualified auditor with experience conducting onsite and remote or virtual audits.
• Knowledge of quality management system tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and site-level products and processes.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
