Engineering Intern - Agentic AI Domain (AI)

Location: CDR (Amsterdam - Cedar), hybrid working. During the internship, enrollment at a Dutch university is mandatory, or at an EU university for EU passport holders.

Internship allowance: 700 EUR based on a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Design and build a repository standardization framework and scaffolding tools for Agentic AI projects.
• Research existing team workflows and implement consistent repository structures, standards, and pre-commit hooks.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for linting, formatting, testing, and deployment to ING’s GCP platform.
• Design and implement a standardized metrics collection and reporting package for agentic AI projects, including BigQuery instrumentation and visualization.
• Work as an AI engineer in an agentic AI initiative and contribute to demos, knowledge-sharing sessions, and chapter meetings.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming and an interest in data and AI engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Enrollment at a Dutch university is required, or at an EU university for EU passport holders.
