Group Copy Supervisor (Market Access)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $117,000–$165,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead strategic, medically accurate content development for multiple accounts and therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to create content aligned with commercial and communication objectives.
• Review briefs, timelines, scientific accuracy, regulatory appropriateness, and content quality.
• Liaise with clients, medical professionals, key opinion leaders, and managed care customers on medical and strategic topics.
• Plan resources, assign staff, and supervise 2–4 medical writers or scientific associates.
• Support new business proposals, target product profiles, competitive analyses, and business pitch meetings.

Requirements

• BA/BS in life sciences, or BA/BS in English combined with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising.
• 5–7 years of experience in medical communications, pharmaceuticals, and/or healthcare.
• Command of American Medical Association style.
• Strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, PubMed, and Google Scholar.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical ability, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for managed care audiences and manage competing, deadline-sensitive client priorities.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in life sciences, such as a PharmD or PhD.
• Experience evaluating healthcare business and scientific literature and insights data.
• Knowledge of managed markets, healthcare delivery systems, health reform legislation, HMO, MCO, or PBM environments.
• Experience developing engaging promotional content and working in managed care.
