Staff Nurse - Family Medicine Part-time Days

Location: 2001 Wiesbrook Rd., Wheaton, Illinois, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients using assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Perform phone triage, communicate abnormal test results, and provide follow-up care instructions.
• Administer medications safely according to patient age and clinical condition.
• Assess patient needs, develop and update individualized care plans, and coordinate continuity and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, pain management, and self-care.
• Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, committee work, and department projects.

Requirements

• Current nursing experience within the past five years or graduation from a nursing program within the past two years.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to apply evidence-based practice, critical thinking, medication safety, and professional nursing standards.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• One year of experience in a relevant clinical specialty.
• Proficiency in a second language.
