What you will do
- Own security engineering across corporate IT, identity, AI security, enterprise systems, and cloud environments.
- Administer Google Workspace, device management, SaaS access, onboarding, offboarding, and access reviews.
- Automate compliance controls, infrastructure remediation, custom Vanta tests, and audit evidence collection.
- Manage vulnerabilities and endpoints across the corporate fleet and operate the company SIEM.
- Review internal tools, triage security requests, respond to incidents, and partner with engineering, R&D, clinical, and security leadership teams.
- Build secure and ethical AI processes and lead new security engineering projects.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience across security and/or IT engineering, including ownership in a small-team environment.
- Experience operating a SIEM such as Datadog Cloud SIEM, Panther, Splunk, Elastic, or a similar platform.
- Fluency with Google Workspace administration, MDM, identity lifecycle management, and corporate IT.
- Scripting skills in Python or a similar language.
- Strong security writing and documentation skills for engineers, agents, auditors, and executives.
- Experience owning Vanta or Drata through a SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA audit cycle, plus incident response beyond tabletop exercises.
