Lead Go Developer (Fintech)

Lead Go Developer — Remote

We are looking for a Lead Go Developer for an international enterprise-level project in the financial and insurance sector.

Format: Fully remote, full-time.

Location: Candidates must be based outside Russia and Belarus.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and evolve high-load, distributed backend systems using Go
• Participate in system design and technical decision-making
• Design and work with APIs, microservices, messaging and databases
• Ensure scalability, reliability and fault tolerance
• Work with Kubernetes and CI/CD infrastructure
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers
• Participate in code reviews and improve engineering practices
• Implement or integrate practical AI/LLM solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of production experience with Go
• 2+ years of technical leadership or experience leading engineers
• Strong knowledge of Go and concurrency
• Experience with distributed, microservice-based and/or high-load systems
• Strong understanding of system design and API design
• Experience with databases and message brokers
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Understanding of scalability, reliability, fault tolerance and observability
• Experience in FinTech, banking, insurance or complex enterprise environments is a strong advantage
• Practical experience implementing or integrating AI/LLM solutions
• Computer Science or related technical degree
• English C1+
