What you will do

• Disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize, and store instruments, procedure trays, equipment, and supplies.
• Assemble case carts and instrument trays accurately using the instrument tracking system.
• Dispense sterile supplies and trays to operating rooms and hospital departments.
• Maintain department inventory, reports, work areas, and sterilization documentation.
• Perform quality control and prioritize workload according to established procedures and infection-control practices.
• Provide timely information and support to patients, customers, and coworkers.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience; 3+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Sterile Processing certification from an accredited body.
