What you will do

  • Coordinate facility, infrastructure, automation, and capital projects from planning through implementation and operational handoff.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, approvals, vendors, contractors, purchase orders, invoices, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support distribution center modernization using automation, RFID, print and apply, material handling equipment, robotics, and warehouse technologies.
  • Evaluate and implement AS/RS, Goods-to-Person systems, sortation equipment, AMRs, and AGVs.
  • Partner with Operations and Technology on system integration, operational readiness, and project execution.
  • Analyze operational performance and labor productivity to deliver continuous improvement, peak readiness, and future network investments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting engineering, automation, facility, capital, or continuous improvement projects in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, fulfillment, or similar environments.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, project budgets, schedules, purchasing activities, and project execution.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment, facility infrastructure, and industrial engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with distribution center technologies, including automation, RFID, robotics, sortation systems, WMS, WES, labor management systems, and operational analytics tools.
  • Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and risk-management skills.
