Data Analyst (Financial Data)

Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the office, working hours from 9am to 6pm

What you will do

• Maintain and support hirify.global products and services.
• Research complex issues involving financial data sources across fixed income, equities, ETFs, and commodities.
• Collaborate with data developers and performance analysts to improve data quality and data infrastructure efficiency.
• Respond to data questions from clients and client-facing teams.
• Coordinate with data suppliers on calculation methodologies and data anomalies.
• Support hirify.global’ commitment to data quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Interest in technology combined with an appreciation for process and structure.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in the Manila office.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial markets and financial data.
• Previous experience in the financial industry.
• Experience with Python or Perl.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar distributed data processing platforms.
