TL;DR
Senior Flutter Engineer (Fintech): Building and evolving customer-facing Flutter investment applications for more than 500,000 customers with an accent on resilient mobile architecture, accessibility, performance, and user experience. Focus on architecting a Flutter monorepo, shaping backend-driven interfaces, maintaining CI/CD and release processes, and mentoring engineers through technical standards and code review.
Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working requires at least 50% of working time per month in the office; new starters initially work full-time from the office.

What you will do
- Architect Flutter solutions with a cross-functional team and document technical designs.
- Build tested, readable, resilient and performant customer-facing mobile applications.
- Improve team delivery by making architectural decisions, unblocking colleagues and maintaining a sustainable codebase.
- Review code, pair with engineers and mentor team members on development standards.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusive user experience remain central to product development.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience shipping production mobile applications through complete app store release cycles.
- Strong Flutter or substantial Flutter experience supported by a native mobile background.
- Knowledge of mobile DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management and app store deployment.
- Advanced software engineering, architecture, debugging, code review and maintainability skills.
- Experience with reactive state management, design systems and shared component libraries.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership and mobile accessibility knowledge.
Nice to have
- Native Android development with Kotlin or iOS development with Swift.
- Experience in finance, investing or another regulated domain.
- Experience with backend-for-frontend architectures.
- Experience building or owning a design system or shared component library.
