Undergraduate Intern Technical (OpenVINO, Neural Network Compression Tools) (Deep Learning/OpenVINO): Developing and exploring state-of-the-art neural network compression algorithms for inference optimization in the OpenVINO Neural Network Compression Framework with an accent on compression methods, model architectures, and Intel platform specifics. Focus on implementing advanced compression techniques, studying neural network models, and optimizing inference performance.
Location: Leixlip, Ireland; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned site and off-site work.
Minimum annual salary: €31,400.

What you will do
- Join the Neural Network Compression Tools team within the OpenVINO organization.
- Contribute to the development of the Neural Network Compression Framework.
- Explore and develop state-of-the-art compression algorithms for neural network inference optimization.
- Study modern neural network models, architectures, compression algorithms, and platform specifics.
Requirements
- Availability for at least six months to qualify for the internship.
- Undergraduate university student working toward a BSc or MSc, in the third year or higher.
- Preferred major in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics.
- Python programming skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of machine learning or neural networks.
- Knowledge of image processing or computer vision.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenVINO.
