Senior GBS Financial Operations Manager (AI)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States

Base salary: $135,000–$180,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the Global Business Services function across Finance, HR, and Procurement.
• Define, standardize, and continuously improve procure-to-pay, hire-to-retire, order-to-cash, and record-to-report processes.
• Establish SLAs, KPIs, reporting, internal controls, and metrics-driven service delivery across global operations.
• Manage departmental budgets, invoices, vendor relationships, training, financial close procedures, operational risk, and business continuity.
• Identify, pilot, and scale AI, ERP, workflow automation, and RPA solutions, including human-in-the-loop review and data governance.
• Drive ERP and HRIS implementations, M&A integrations, process re-engineering, and other cross-functional transformation projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Operations, or Shared Services, including at least 3 years managing a Global Business Services or Shared Services organization.
• Experience in a publicly traded company with practical knowledge of SOX 404, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience scaling global shared service centers and managing teams across geographies and time zones.
• Deep expertise in process analysis, design, and implementation for procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and hire-to-retire operations.
• Experience managing significant departmental budgets and invoicing processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; access to export-controlled information requires meeting applicable U.S. Government export-control eligibility conditions.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, cloud, or high-growth startup environments.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, or similar ERP, procurement, and HRIS platforms.
• PMP, Six Sigma, or a similar certification.
