Director, PMO

Location: Full-time, onsite at the hirify.global Store Support Center, 510 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320. Relocation support is available for candidates outside the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. Travel: 0–25% as required.

Salary: $175,000–$210,000 per year, plus a 25% bonus opportunity and other incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the Technology shared services PMO and oversee portfolio planning, transformation projects, governance, budgets, resources, and project lifecycle controls.
• Provide metrics, dashboards, reports, status updates, and executive presentations for the CIO, technology leaders, business sponsors, governance meetings, and steering committees.
• Align technology demand, annual portfolio planning, and the three-year strategic roadmap with business and technology priorities.
• Manage partnerships with IT delivery, architecture, security, operations, audit, business, development, and QA stakeholders.
• Coach PMO and project teams on methodologies, agile practices, standardization, change management, user training, and continuous improvement.
• Manage external and offshore vendors and maintain project financial budgets, actuals, and forecasts.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Must work full-time onsite at the Chesapeake, Virginia Store Support Center.
• 8+ years of experience in technology project management and 6+ years leading technology project management teams.
• Experience delivering technology transformation initiatives and managing simultaneous, complex technology projects.
• Strong retail experience and experience managing external or offshore vendors.
• Strong facilitation, communication, collaboration, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, including executive summaries, complex data visualization, historical trend analysis, KPIs, and OKRs.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, MIS, or a related four-year field.
• Experience with SharePoint, ServiceNow modules, and Power BI.
