Vice President, Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering enterprise reporting, operational analytics, and data-driven applications.
• Own franchisee access platforms, identity, authorization, secure data access, and enterprise system architecture.
• Lead the architecture, engineering, and operations of restaurant attributes, master data, and the Snowflake enterprise data platform.
• Enable reliable data ingestion, APIs, data models, observability, quality monitoring, governance, and support.
• Build platforms, tools, and guardrails for responsible AI adoption, natural-language analytics, and AI-driven automation.
• Own production operations, monitoring, incident response, reliability, testing, CI/CD, security, and continuous improvement while developing engineering leaders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading large teams.
• Deep understanding of data-governance frameworks, including GDPR/DSAR and SOX.
• Strong cloud-native and security background with expertise in Snowflake and AWS.
• Experience with machine learning, its associated mathematics, and AI enablement, tooling, and solution implementation.
• Executive-level communication, business partnership, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
