People Practitioner (Ecommerce)

What you will do

• Partner with, coach, and support managers and employees across performance management, recruitment, remuneration and benefits, learning and development, employee relations, and wellness.
• Implement HR strategy and policies while ensuring alignment with relevant legislation and company procedures.
• Support organisational design, talent acquisition initiatives, interviews, career fairs, and recruitment processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, contracts, new-starter data, induction, stay interviews, resignations, and employee system updates.
• Coordinate payroll submissions and checks, and provide accurate HR reports and management information.
• Support employee relations processes, HR projects, administrative activities, and day-to-day employee queries.

Requirements

• Degree in HR or a related field, such as a Bachelor of Technology in HR Management, BCom HR Management, or BCom Industrial Psychology.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, including at least two years in a generalist capacity.
• Experience in an HR partnering role within a changing environment.
• Knowledge of labour laws, HR policies, and industrial relations, including CCMA experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, and organisational skills.
• PC literacy, preferably Google Suite, and experience with HR information systems.
