Binance Accelerator Program - Internal Audit (Technology)

Location: Asia; work-from-home arrangement may vary depending on the business team and work nature.

What you will do

• Support planning and execution of technology audits covering IT general controls, applications, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• Test controls related to logical access, identity management, change management, SDLC, and IT operations.
• Review AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices against security and control expectations.
• Design scripts and tools for audit automation, continuous control monitoring, and data analysis.
• Extract, clean, and analyze logs, system data, and database records to identify control gaps, anomalies, and risks.
• Prepare workpapers, reports, and presentations while collaborating with audit, engineering, security, and compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Current Bachelor's or Master's student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Availability for 5 days per week for 6 months.
• Foundational knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, cloud computing, and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, data analysis, logs, and large datasets.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin communication is required; strong attention to detail, ethics, and integrity are expected.

Nice to have

• Exposure to COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or IT audit methodology.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or infrastructure as code.
• Understanding of identity and access management, encryption, vulnerability management, logging, and monitoring.
• Interest or experience in blockchain, smart contracts, Web3 risks, IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity, or data analytics.
• Relevant certifications or progress toward CISA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or cloud certifications.
