Payroll Tax & Compliance Manager (APAC)

What you will do

• Ensure payroll tax, social security, and statutory compliance across APAC countries.
• Lead internal and external audits, manage responses to tax authorities, and oversee compliance for new jurisdictions.
• Track legislative changes, assess their impact, and educate Payroll and business stakeholders on regulatory requirements.
• Manage payroll tax vendors and third-party filing agents, monitoring filing accuracy, timeliness, and service levels.
• Collaborate with Payroll Operations and IT on tax reporting, automation tools, and system upgrades.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Compensation teams on taxable benefits, equity, and executive compensation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or at least 7 years of relevant payroll experience.
• At least 5 years of payroll tax experience.
• Deep expertise in payroll tax, social security, statutory compliance, and multi-country APAC payroll.
• Experience leading regional tax initiatives within broader payroll transformation programs.
• Fluent English is required.
