Database Developer Engineer (SQL/NoSQL)

Location: Athens, Greece; hybrid work model with 2 days working from home.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries across multiple database technologies.
• Collaborate with software developers across different languages and platforms to resolve database challenges.
• Analyze database systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for query tuning, problem resolution, and system design.
• Track developments in database management systems and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a database developer, database administrator, or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and query languages.
• Experience with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and InfluxDB.
• Knowledge of Python and .NET.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Legal authorization to work in Greece is required. Resumes must be submitted in English.
