Manager, Public Relations & Consumer Storytelling (Fintech)

Salary: $81,900–$128,700 annual base pay

What you will do

• Develop and execute consumer communications and media outreach strategies for hirify.global Scores.
• Build relationships with consumer, personal finance, mainstream, financial, and business reporters.
• Write press releases, media pitches, Q&As, talking points, consumer explainer blogs, and related materials.
• Support storytelling around product launches, credit education, data insights, and financial literacy.
• Prepare spokespeople for interviews, briefings, and media engagements.
• Monitor coverage and consumer conversations, analyze earned media performance, and manage communications projects from planning through execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of experience in communications, media relations, or public relations, including consumer-facing communications.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and create compelling messages for consumer and mainstream media audiences.
• Experience developing press materials and building media relationships across consumer, financial, or business outlets.
• Ability to manage multiple communications projects, priorities, and deadlines with accuracy.
• Experience using PR tools such as Muck Rack for media monitoring, outreach, and reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated industry.
• Agency experience.
