Bioprocess Technician III (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Sanford, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $23.40–$39.01 per hour, with potential overtime, weekend, holiday, and other schedule-based premiums.

What you will do

• Produce drug substances and active biological ingredients in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Operate standard manufacturing equipment and ensure equipment functionality.
• Follow established procedures and standard operating procedures for tasks of varying scope and complexity.
• Review work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to manufacturing standards.
• Support technical operations, housekeeping, training status, and implementation of new technology for process execution and analysis.
• Identify and solve moderately routine problems while coordinating with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience using standard manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures in a structured environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and basic computer skills, including data entry and reporting systems.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality systems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret technical data.
• Experience managing changing priorities and driving continuous improvement.
