Warehouse Team Lead - Inventory Control

Location: McDonough, Georgia, United States; onsite warehouse role

Salary: $24.50–$26.00 per hour, with potential overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, and a peak-season bonus of up to $1,200.

What you will do

• Lead and support a team of approximately 6–15 warehouse associates across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, bulk, value-added services, or inventory control.
• Assign work, monitor performance and KPIs, provide real-time feedback, and support achievement of production targets.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, lead safety activities, enforce SOPs, and assist with onboarding and employee training.
• Control workflow, remove operational roadblocks, monitor dashboards, and resolve issues before escalating them to supervisors.
• Oversee inbound and outbound operations, including unloading, processing, picking, packaging, trailer loading, and Dock to Stock SLA performance.
• Perform inventory and quality checks, maintain accurate product placement, support department cleanliness, and respond to email and verbal questions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience is preferred, with experience in more than one warehouse department required.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver products weighing over 150 pounds unassisted or with a team lift.
• PIV certification is required for applicable roles; ability or willingness to operate and train on Powered Industrial Truck Operations equipment.
• Leadership, motivational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently within established policies.
• Working knowledge of a WMS system; high school diploma or GED and previous warehouse experience are preferred.
