Senior Design Specialist (Cabinetry & Home Renovation)

Location: Denver, Colorado, physical retail in-store

Salary: USD 27.00–28.50 per hour; the fixed entry rate for new hires is USD 27.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead in-store, virtual, and in-home design consultations and guide customers from inspiration through purchase.
• Develop tailored solutions using color theory, spatial planning, textiles, trend-aware styling, furniture, cabinetry, and home products.
• Create 2D and 3D room visualizations, mood boards, presentations, and complex quotes using design software such as SketchUp, DesignFiles, and Icovia.
• Use hirify.global’s digital catalog, proprietary tools, inventory platforms, and retail POS systems to research alternatives and compare solutions.
• Build leads and pipelines, follow up with customers, and confidently close premium project plans.
• Support store operations, including floor sets, replenishment, customer service, product displays, and store recovery.

Requirements

• 2+ years of sales experience, ideally with higher-price-point products or in a design-related retail environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in interior, architectural, or graphic design.
• Ability to read and understand English, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort using design tools, POS systems, inventory platforms, and Salesforce.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the day and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
