Sr. Store Design Manager - Global HOKA

Location: Remote within the US; applicants must reside in one of the approved states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin.

Salary: $122,300–$165,000 per year for the Goleta, California remote location. Individual pay depends on location, skills, experience, and education or training.

What you will do

• Lead the creative development and execution of HOKA retail concepts across flagship, brand, outlet, and other store formats.
• Manage retail projects from concept development and site evaluation through documentation, construction coordination, and store opening.
• Create and present design narratives, sketches, plans, renderings, and site-specific consumer journeys.
• Maintain the 365-store design toolkit and develop tiered solutions aligned with format, volume, and investment levels.
• Lead prototyping and refinement of fixtures, furniture, display systems, and materials for functionality, durability, and design quality.
• Direct external architects, agencies, consultants, and fabricators while managing briefs, budgets, timelines, and design standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of retail design experience; 8–10 years is preferred.
• Experience delivering retail projects across multiple formats, including new openings, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects.
• Strong architectural knowledge, fixture and materials design experience, and hands-on execution skills.
• Strong communication through renderings, sketches, presentations, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
