Health & Safety Business Partner (Manufacturing): Strengthening safety leadership, risk management and critical controls across operational and manufacturing sites with an accent on frontline safety leadership, data-driven decisions and organisational learning. Focus on coaching leaders, analysing operational signals, leading incident and learning reviews, and driving practical improvements across multiple sites.
Location: On-site at the Te Awamutu site, supporting Taupo and Southern Waikato operations in New Zealand; some travel between sites is required.

What you will do
- Partner with operational leaders and frontline teams to strengthen Health, Safety and Wellbeing leadership.
- Coach, challenge and support leaders in managing critical risks and applying effective controls.
- Use data, dashboards and operational observations to identify emerging risks and support proactive decisions.
- Lead high-quality incident and learning reviews and convert insights into lasting improvements.
- Build relationships across multiple sites and provide visible frontline Health and Safety leadership.
- Work with leaders, workers and HSW specialists to promote learning, open conversations and worker engagement.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Health and Safety, Risk Management, Occupational Health, Engineering, Human Factors or a related discipline, or active progress toward one.
- NZISM Professional Accreditation or an equivalent recognised Health and Safety certification.
- Experience providing Health, Safety and Wellbeing advice in operational or manufacturing environments.
- Experience coaching leaders and influencing decisions about critical risks and controls.
- Strong analytical, relationship-building and influencing skills, including the ability to challenge constructively.
- Availability to work on-site in Te Awamutu, support multiple sites and travel as required.
