Location: Fully remote within the United States, with occasional travel for collaboration, team events, customer meetings, and other business needs.
Annual base salary: $326,300–$408,400 for Salt Lake City and other U.S. locations; $358,930–$449,240 for New York City, Boston, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Additional annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits are available.

What you will do
- Develop integrated Medical Affairs strategies for clinical-stage assets, including scientific narratives, evidence gaps, stakeholder engagement, publications, medical education, advisory boards, field medical planning, and launch readiness.
- Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Development Sciences, HEOR/RWE, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, Portfolio Strategy, Patient Advocacy, Communications, Legal/Compliance, and Business Development.
- Build evidence-generation plans covering real-world evidence, HEOR, epidemiology, natural history, treatment patterns, burden of disease, and outcomes-focused studies.
- Lead scientific engagement with healthcare professionals, investigators, patient communities, payers, health systems, scientific leaders, professional societies, and other external stakeholders.
- Direct congress strategy, medical communications, publication planning, advisory boards, medical information, scientific training, and medical education.
- Design and build a scalable Medical Affairs organization with governance, operating rhythms, vendor partnerships, performance metrics, and compliant processes.
Requirements
- Advanced clinical or scientific degree required; MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent preferred.
- 15+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience, including significant Medical Affairs leadership experience.
- Experience leading Medical Affairs strategy for clinical-stage or launch-stage assets, ideally in oncology, rare disease, immunology, or other specialty therapeutic areas.
- Proven experience with integrated evidence planning, drug development from early clinical development through launch readiness, and lifecycle planning.
- Demonstrated success engaging KOLs, investigators, patient advocacy organizations, professional societies, payers, HTA stakeholders, and external experts through compliant scientific exchange.
- Strong knowledge of compliance expectations for scientific exchange, medical review, publications, advisory boards, and healthcare professional interactions in the U.S. and globally.
