Medical Director, Clinical Development, Solid Tumor Oncology (GYN Oncology)

Location: Tarrytown, New York, United States; onsite expectations apply. Travel of approximately 10% is required for relevant conferences.

Salary: $284,900–$385,700 annually.

What you will do

• Define clinical trial goals and objectives for solid tumor oncology drug development, including ovarian cancer studies.
• Design clinical study concepts using literature and database research.
• Oversee the medical and scientific supervision of clinical trials.
• Lead the Clinical Team in delivering high-quality program milestones on schedule.
• Collaborate with Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Trial Managers, and Therapeutic Area Program Managers.
• Contribute to program meetings, scientific advisory boards, steering committees, and data and safety monitoring meetings while maintaining investigator relationships.

Requirements

• MD or MD/PhD degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant research experience in industry or an academic research setting.
• Experience in oncology clinical development and clinical trial oversight.
• Oncology clinical fellowship training with translational and/or clinical research experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Tarrytown, New York, with approximately 10% conference travel.
