What you will do

• Lead process chemistry strategies for scalable synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
• Design and develop catalytic methods and chemical catalysts for novel or improved synthetic transformations.
• Apply AI/ML tools and high-throughput experimentation to accelerate reaction screening, optimization, and process development.
• Contribute to process development for small molecules, peptides, antibody-drug conjugates, and other modalities.
• Lead scientists and project teams, define strategies and timelines, assign responsibilities, and provide mentorship.
• Prepare and review technical reports, regulatory documents, patents, and scientific publications, and present findings at scientific forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in organic chemistry with typically 16+ years of experience for a bachelor's degree, 14+ years for a master's degree, or 8+ years for a PhD.
• Deep expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and hands-on experience with catalysis.
• Experience with high-throughput experimentation platforms and data analysis workflows for catalyst identification and reaction optimization.
• Experience in synthetic molecule process development and chemical or automation technology innovation.
• Proven scientific leadership, communication, collaboration, and people management experience.
• High-impact publications and an established track record as an industry leader in catalysis.
