Maintenance Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Thanh Oai, Hanoi, Vietnam

What you will do

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for sub-assembly and Dosifix machines and equipment.
• Develop and maintain standard operating and maintenance procedures, calibration processes, maintenance schedules, and technical documentation.
• Back up machine PLC software and applications in cooperation with the OT team.
• Manage critical spare-parts inventory, maintenance planning, RFQs, purchase requests, and equipment-related reporting.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate solutions with production, vendors, technicians, and global teams.
• Manage maintenance projects, including technical specifications, investment budgets, vendor coordination, IQ/OQ/PQ qualification, reporting, and handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–3 years of experience in production and maintenance.
• Good English skills in written and spoken communication are required.
• Technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Critical thinking, analytical thinking, clear communication, direct communication style, and a strategic mindset.
• Availability to work onsite in Thanh Oai, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
