Quality Engineer (Networking)

Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam; work rights for Vietnam required

What you will do

• Establish quality standards, KPIs, and reliability metrics for products and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement an effective Quality Management System.
• Partner with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Test, Failure Analysis, Component Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Develop and enhance supplier audit processes and contribute to supplier SBR and QBR activities.
• Lead tiger-team investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and 8D processes.
• Drive quality improvements across new product introduction, production, and sustaining operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• 10+ years of related experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry, including quality engineering in high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with contract manufacturing, PCBA manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, testing, diagnostics, failure analysis, and debugging.
• Practical knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO/TL 9000, Six Sigma methods, quality KPIs, ERP systems, and supply chain concepts.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and balance technical and business considerations in hardware manufacturing.
• Fluent English and Vietnamese; must have work rights for Vietnam.
