Associate Manager, Specimen Management

Salary: $58,800–$122,500 annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead hiring, training, performance management, mentoring, and development for the specimen management team.
• Set daily operational objectives and coordinate workflows, staffing coverage, and resources.
• Monitor operational metrics and implement improvements in performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain quality control systems, standard operating procedures, training records, position descriptions, and other required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory guidelines, health and safety requirements, and housekeeping standards.
• Support capacity and budget planning, equipment purchase justifications, audit preparation, incident trend analysis, and collaboration with global counterparts and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least four years of experience in specimen management or a related clinical laboratory services function.
• Strong understanding of specimen management operations, methods, quality control systems, and procedures.
• Knowledge of study setup and cross-functional and system dependencies.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, delegation, and workflow coordination skills.
