TL;DR
Associate II, Quality Control (Chemistry) (HPLC/UPLC/GC): Performing cGMP analytical chemistry testing for QC, release, stability, and in-process samples at a site-based mRNA medicines operation with an accent on chromatography, assay execution, and data integrity. Focus on troubleshooting methods and equipment, maintaining LIMS records, supporting investigations and CAPAs, and reviewing data while working the Sunday–Thursday second shift.

Location: 100% onsite in Norwood, Massachusetts, United States. The position works Sunday through Thursday on the second shift. Due to U.S. export control requirements, only U.S. persons are eligible; visa sponsorship for non-U.S. persons is not available.

Salary: $63,200–$100,900 per year, with potential annual discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

  • Perform routine cGMP analytical chemistry testing for QC, release, stability, and in-process samples using HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV, particle analysis, dynamic light scattering, and Karl Fischer methods.
  • Execute HPLC anion-exchange and NaOH plate-reader assays supporting manufacturing process statistical testing.
  • Enter and review results in LabVantage LIMS, execute electronic assay forms, trend data, and maintain complete cGMP documentation.
  • Support assay-method and equipment troubleshooting, stability programs, sample management, reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, and laboratory housekeeping.
  • Author and revise SOPs, protocols, reports, investigations, deviations, change controls, and CAPAs.
  • Support junior staff through data review, training, and troubleshooting while maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory environment.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • At least 2 years of laboratory experience.
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of GxP regulations and follow applicable procedures, data-integrity requirements, and company policies.
  • Must work onsite in Norwood, Massachusetts, on the Sunday–Thursday second shift.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person under applicable export control laws.
