Media Analyst (Media Monitoring)

Location: Remote; daily work begins at 3:00 AM and weekend coverage is required.

What you will do

• Monitor newspapers, television, magazines, journals, websites, and specialty press for client-relevant coverage.
• Collect, organize, rank, edit, and concisely summarize news clips using tools such as Meltwater and LexisNexis.
• Maintain quality control, improve monitoring workflows, and refine keyword searches to keep reports current.
• Use social listening platforms to identify emerging trends, influential stakeholders, and relevant audiences.
• Present insights and recommendations concisely using a bottom-line-up-front approach.
• Support proposal development by researching RFPs, drafting content, formatting information, and contributing to strategy meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in media monitoring.
• Strong writing, editing, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Meltwater, LexisNexis, social listening platforms, and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently and meet early-morning reporting deadlines.
