Senior Engineer I-Test (ATE Testing)

What you will do

• Generate ATE test programs for SyncE/1588 timing, clock distribution, and frequency synthesizer products.
• Define and develop high-speed, low-noise ATE test boards.
• Review product specifications and advise design teams on manufacturability.
• Coordinate with applications, marketing, product, and reliability groups on new product releases, goals, and schedules.
• Establish manufacturing guard-bands using repeatability and characterization data.
• Support customer sampling, offshore volume production ramps, subcontractor testing, yield improvement, cost reduction, test capacity maximization, and customer-return analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience developing ATE test programs for integrated circuits.
• Extensive knowledge of semiconductors, statistics, analog and digital circuit theory, circuit analysis, and semiconductor IC testing.
• Experience with ATE systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team across multiple locations.

• ATE programming experience with Advantest Smartest and Cohu Unison.
