Operations Support Specialist (CAR-T)

Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States; onsite role with assigned production shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Salary: $47,861–$62,819 USD base pay per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and/or equity.

What you will do

• Perform cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation according to standard operating procedures and batch records.
• Record production data clearly and complete manufacturing tasks according to safety, quality, and cGMP requirements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and external partners within a cross-functional production team.
• Support manufacturing process development, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Handle biological materials and hazardous chemicals in a BSL-2 cleanroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 years of operations experience in a cGMP biotech or biopharma environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for manufacturing cell-based products.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, follow procedures, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work with physical dexterity in the production environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through Form I-9 and E-Verify.
