Senior Manager/Associate Director Clinical Data Transparency, EHDS Data Cataloguing

Location: Hybrid, 3 days onsite weekly in Beerse, Belgium; Leiden, the Netherlands; High Wycombe/Maidenhead, UK; Allschwil, Switzerland; or Spring House, Titusville, or Raritan, United States. Remote work may be considered case by case with company approval.

What you will do

• Lead the EHDS data inventory and cataloguing workstream across clinical and health data holdings.
• Coordinate data owners and functional representatives to identify, classify, describe, and maintain in-scope datasets.
• Apply EHDS data categories, metadata standards, and HealthDCAT-AP requirements to create complete, interoperable, and discoverable catalogue entries.
• Define and implement metadata requirements, classification guidance, operating procedures, controls, training, and performance measures.
• Drive data quality reviews, gap remediation, periodic verification, and alignment with data preparation, anonymization, pseudonymization, privacy, and intellectual property processes.
• Partner with Legal, Global Privacy, Regulatory Affairs, Data Sharing, Technology, and architecture teams to operationalize EHDS requirements and support catalogue solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a scientific, technology, data, or healthcare discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, or data experience.
• Expertise in data cataloguing, metadata management, data classification, data governance, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of clinical and health data standards such as CDISC SDTM or ADaM and controlled terminology; familiarity with OMOP, HL7 FHIR, HealthDCAT-AP, or DCAT-AP is advantageous.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, coordinating distributed data owners, and implementing sustainable data and metadata governance processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, decision-making, and international collaboration skills; domestic or international travel may be required.

• Experience interpreting and operationalizing new regulatory and technical requirements.
