Location: Hybrid, 3 days onsite weekly, with positions available in Beerse, Belgium; Leiden, the Netherlands; High Wycombe or Maidenhead, UK; Allschwil, Switzerland; or Spring House, Titusville, or Raritan, United States. Remote work may be considered case by case with company approval.
Base pay ranges by location: Netherlands €82,900–€144,210; Belgium €96,000–€165,025; Switzerland CHF 136,000–CHF 234,830.

What you will do
- Lead the EHDS Data Inventory and Cataloguing workstream across functions and geographies.
- Identify, classify, describe, register, and maintain in-scope clinical and health-data holdings.
- Apply EHDS secondary-use categories, metadata standards, and HealthDCAT-AP requirements to create complete and discoverable catalogue entries.
- Coordinate data owners and subject matter experts to resolve information gaps, ownership questions, quality issues, and coverage gaps.
- Develop operating procedures, guidance, controls, training, quality standards, and performance measures for cataloguing and metadata management.
- Partner with Data Sharing, Legal, Privacy, Regulatory Affairs, Technology, and data architecture teams to implement sustainable cataloguing solutions and processes.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a scientific, technology, data, or healthcare discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, or data experience.
- Expertise in data cataloguing, metadata management, data classification, data governance, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of clinical and health-data standards such as CDISC SDTM or ADaM and controlled terminology; familiarity with OMOP, HL7 FHIR, HealthDCAT-AP, or DCAT-AP is advantageous.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, coordinating distributed data owners, and implementing sustainable governance, controls, training, and quality processes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a global matrix environment; domestic or international travel may be required.
Nice to have
- Experience with OMOP, HL7 FHIR, HealthDCAT-AP, or DCAT-AP.
- Experience with advanced analytics, analytics dashboards, database management, data security, or information security risk management.
- Experience evaluating and overseeing external cataloguing services or technology vendors.
